Elizabeth, Yalaima, Lisset, Aleina, and Claudia are truly the best. Their great service is the reason I keep coming back. They make every visit a pleasure!
Look no further for a place to treat your breakfast cravings, or just to start off the day on a very high mood scale from the full experience in this local bakery fave! I strongly recommend to try the latte, or how locals call it ‘cafe con leche’ (pretty much latte to a whole different level!) Their recipe and craftsmanship rivals local staples such as Starbucks! Reasonably priced, almost to that of pre-pandemic era, the tab is a bargain for the buck! In addition to being a consistent service, your expectations will be met regardless of the day or time. South Miami should definitely pride itself from this coffeeshop, unlike others. Keep it up fellas!
If you’re around Homestead on US-1, this spot is a must 🔥 Stopped by Pinecrest Bakery and honestly, everything was on point. The food is fresh, flavorful, and they have a huge variety of pastries, sandwiches, and desserts to choose from. Perfect spot whether you want a quick cafecito, breakfast, or something sweet late at night. What I really liked is that it’s open 24 hours, so it always comes in clutch no matter the time. The service was fast, and the vibe feels very Miami—good energy and great food. Definitely coming back 🙌🏽
I visited Pinecrest this morning, and unfortunately, the customer service has not improved—it continues to be very disappointing. The staff at the front seem to lack basic customer service skills and professionalism. I placed a simple order for an omelette with onions, diced tomatoes, and ham, along with a side of toast. Instead, I received something completely different—more like a pan con tortilla, which was not what I asked for. When I went back to clarify, the employee who assisted me began arguing, insisting that she prepared exactly what I ordered. I was very clear with my request, yet she dismissed me, saying, “bueno yo sé lo que tú me pediste.” As I walked back to wait for the correction, I overheard her tell the cook to just remove the tortilla and place it back on the plate, implying it was “the same thing.” I immediately addressed this and explained that I expected a fresh omelette made correctly—especially since I had specifically asked for diced tomatoes, which were not prepared that way. Her reaction was unprofessional—she rolled her eyes and walked away. Based on her behavior and the fact that she had access to the safe and appeared to be in a supervisory role, I assume she may have been a lead or manager. It was also clear she was distracted while taking my order, as she was speaking with other staff at the same time. I come to this Pinecrest location at least 2–3 times a week, and unfortunately, this type of rude and careless service is consistent. The food itself is always excellent, which is why I continue to return. I do want to recognize the cook who corrected my order—she was kind, apologetic, and ensured I received exactly what I originally requested. However, the front staff clearly need better training in customer service and communication. A positive dining experience is not just about the food—it’s also about how customers are treated.
I really like this place. They have great service and they have cold tap beer too. They have Modelo, Stella, Michelob Ultra and Heineken I think. The food is good. Flan for desert is really good. I had the rib. It is a big tomahawk type rib. Very good.

Elizabeth and her team are so great, always welcoming us and knowing exactly how to make our coffees. They consistently make the best café con leche for my husband and I, perfect every time.
